Businesses whose turnover is up to Rs. 1.5 crore have to file GSTR-1 for the quarter July-September by 10th January 2018, as against 31st December 2017, earlier.
Government has extended the deadline for filing GSTR-1 Returns
The government has extended the last date for filing final GST returns by ten days, i.e., till 10th January 2018, under Goods & Service Tax.
The last date for filing the GST returns for a business whose turnover is more than Rs. 1.5 crore, for the period July-November, is also extended till 10th January. The business has to file the GSTR-1 until 10th February for the month of December, while; for the succeeding months the last date would be the 10th of the succeeding month.

-1 for July-November to be 10th January. He also said that this should give relief to businesses who have been struggling with system and data issues and file return.
Earlier in November, the GST Council had allowed business whose turnover is up to Rs. 1.5 crore, to file the final returns GSTR-1 quarterly. However, now the businesses whose turnover is up to Rs. 1.5 crore have to file returns by 15th February for the period October-December and by 30th April for the period January-March, respectively.
